Pack 24 is resuming our usual practice of meeting as a pack on the second Tuesday of each month; our next meeting is March 12 at 7pm at the RPC Social Hall. We are also meeting April 9 and our last pack meeting of the school year is May 14.
At the March pack meeting we will be awarding brag vest segments to all of the scouts that worked the Pancake Breakfast last Saturday. We received many compliments from the Troop leaders and customers on the excellent behavior of our scouts. Clearly all Pack parents deserve much of the credit for helping the scouts come prepared with friendly and helpful attitudes. So thank you very much for your help on making this event a big success for both the Pack and the Troop.
We have emailed all parents an update with the amount of Kamp Bux that their scout earned during the 2012 Popcorn campaign. The amount of Kamp Bux represents 10% of the total popcorn sales of your scouts which includes (1) site sales credit (2) individual scout take orders (i.e. door-to-door sales) and (3) online sales credited to your scout. If you have any questions about your scout’s Kamp Bux credit, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Kamp Bux can be redeemed at upcoming events such as the USS Cobia on April 20th or Camp Duncan on May 11 & 12.
Speaking of the USS Cobia Overnight, registration began last week, click here for details. Space is limited to 60 participants, and we have already had 25 participants register, so don’t forget to click here to register today. The cost of $50 includes the program fee, Saturday dinner, late night snack, patch and Sunday light breakfast. All in all, a lot of fun and a pretty good deal as well.
