Our primary activity for our March 12 Pack Meeting will be to go on a night hike through Swan Pong and over to Hoffman Dam. Major restoration efforts were recently completed on these areas and two of our pack leaders will discuss the history and current ecological system.
Here’s what we ask you to do to prepare:
- Come to the RPC social hall before 7pm for the opening flag ceremony
- We’ll have a few quick announcements and give brag vest segments to all scouts that worked the Pancake Breakfast.
- Be sure to dress for the weather
- Bring a flashlight or a camping head-lamp. We’ll provide some glow sticks as well.
We intend to be back at the RPC by 7:45 to warm up with some hot chocolate before dismissing the scouts.
If you have already registered for the USS Cobia overnight on April 20th. Please bring any payment due and the completed waiver (one per family) and medical forms since these are both are required by the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
The registration deadline for the USS Cobia is Tuesday, March 19, as the museum requires us to give them a financial commitment 30 days in advance. We have approximately 30 spots remaining as of this update, so click here to register today.
