Happy Halloween Pack 24, we hope all our scouts have a lot of fun and get lots of candy.
Once your scout settles down from all of the Halloween festivities, please remind him that we are seeking logo / emblem design ideas by Tuesday, November 6. This deadline will permit the pack 24 leaders to review all designs in advance of our pack meeting on Tuesday, November 13. Email all designs to the pack24riverside@gmail.com address when you have the time. See our previous post with additional details as well as examples from other Packs. Yes, you can work directly with your son to help him with his creative process.
As an added incentive – all scouts that submit a design will be awarded an artist segment to wear on his brag vest. That’s pretty cool, right? Of course, the winning design will be displayed on our new class “B” T-Shirts and the web site as well.
A few other reminders:
- Popcorn orders will be available for pickup from your den leader beginning November 17.
- Adler Planetarium overnight registration has begun, click here for more information or click here to register today.
- Our next Pack meeting is Tuesday, November 13 at 7pm. We will be recognizing scout participation in activities with patches & segments and awarding all new scouts their Bobcat badge. An Eagle scout candidate will present his project to the cub scouts.
- Please bring a dessert to share at our Pack meeting on November 13. We will celebrate the achievement of all of our new scouts with a reception after the Bobcat ceremony.
