Hello Pack 24 families: This is a combination reminder & update related to a variety of upcoming activities.
Pack Meeting: Tuesday, October 9 at 7pm at the Riverside Presbyterian Church. We will begin with a fun active game to burn off a little energy before we welcome our special guest of the evening: an artist / instructor from the Riverside Arts Center. Mr. T is well known for making fanciful creations such as dragons from everyday household products.
Scout Cabin Campout: Activities begin Saturday, October 13 at 1pm. More details are available on this previous post. Its going to be a lot of fun, and remember the whole family is welcome to participate, so to register, click here.
Wrigley Field Trip: Begins Saturday, October 20 at 8:30am. As of today, siblings are permitted to come on this trip at a rate of $25 per person. We are about 70% full, meaning less than 20 spots left on the bus, so be sure to click here to register today. Registration will end on Friday, September 28.
Popcorn Update: Kernel Mike Winkler has advised us that the scouts have done very well at our site sales over the past two weekends, and thank Jewel – Stickney and Riverside Foods for hosting Pack 24. We ask scout families to visit these stores to thank them for helping us with our popcorn campaign. We are returning to Riverside Foods for one last site sale this coming weekend, and there are some openings that remain.
