What: Pack 24 Advancement Ceremony and Food Drive
When: Tuesday, 5/21 at 7pm
Where: Outside at the Riverside Scout Cabin, 417 Fairbank Rd, Riverside, IL 60546
If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to Riverside Presbyterian Church
Who: All Pack 24 Scouts in Class A uniform (including their neckerchief)
What to bring: Camping chair & uniform items you are ready to pass along
FOOD DRIVE: But wait, there’s more!! The meeting will also serve as a FOOD DRIVE for the Riverside Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. Help us support the efforts of this wonderful community organization with donations such as canned tuna, canned chicken, granola/breakfast bars, dried beans, pasta, packets of oatmeal, rice, canned fruit, canned soups/stews, and/or other non-perishable food items.
DONATE YOUR OLD SCOUTING MATERIAL: Don’t forget to bring any items that you would like to pass on to younger scouts, including scout shirts, hats, and neckerchiefs. We will have boxes set out for your donations. Please recycle any unwanted handbooks as we will use new editions next year.
