2024 Camp Lowden

A fun & relaxing camp to enjoy with your family! While the Pack is unable to attend as a group, individual families can still register. You can utilize Kamp Bux by requesting a reimbursement from the Pack. Note that you will need to prepare some or all of your meals. Register by 5/15/24 for the best pricing. Make plans to join us at Camp Lowden for Spring Family Camp, May 31-June 2nd. It’s Just Ducky in Camp! In honor of the Blackhawk Council’s 100th year, we will have a weekend long rubber ducky birthday party. There will be a camp-wide rubber ducky scavenger hunt, a birthday treat cook-off competition for the adults (or older scouts), a story hike, shooting sports, bouldering wall, games, campfire, and fun for all. Scouts, parents, and non-Scout siblings are all welcome to attend and join in the fun. Saturday lunch is available for pre-order at the time of registration. Families, Packs, and Troops can find full details and register on our website. Scouts BSA Troops who would like to help as volunteers during the Saturday program are encouraged to reach out for volunteer options.   

Who: Open to youth and adults in all Scouting programs, along with their families and siblings

When: Friday-Sunday, May 31 – June 2, 2024 (see schedule below)

Where: Camp Lowden (4418 S. Scout Road, Oregon, IL)

Cost: $27 per youth (increases to $35 on May 15); $17 per adult (increases to $25 on May 15); $2 per youth age 3 years & under; registration ends May 27

After 5/15/2024 a fee of $8.00 will apply to all Adult Registrants.

Cancellation Policy

All refund requests must be submitted, to the professional staff advisor, in writing (i.e., email request) prior to the event as the policy states below. You can send your request to: bac.info@scouting.org 30 days or more prior to an event 100% refund 29-15 days prior to event 70% refund 14 days-8 days prior to the event 30% refund 7 days or less prior to event 0% refund Refund requests for extenuating circumstances will be considered for 7 days or less and will be at a 30% refund if approved.
