Cosley Zoo overnight registration is here!

For the first time, Pack 24 is headed to Cosley Zoo in Wheaton for an overnight stay! 

Cosley Zoo exhibits a variety of domestic farm animals and Illinois native wildlife. Visitors can enjoy watching the activities of the curious red fox, playful raccoons, intriguing turkey vultures, adorable goats and much more. You can even see some “creepy crawlies” such as snakes, insects, and turtles. Naturalistic habitats complete with trees and water features house the wild mammals, reptiles and birds. When: Friday, November 8th, 6:30pm – Saturday, November 9th, 8am (please arrive promptly on Friday evening)

Where: Cosley Zoo, 1356 N. Gary Ave., Wheaton, IL (approx. 20 miles west of Riverside; please allow time for Friday rush hour traffic)

Who: This overnight is better suited for younger Scouts and space is very limited, so registration is open to Lions (need to be six years old), Tigers, Wolves and Bears. Don’t worry, we’re planning other overnights suitable for everyone!

What: Animal-centric activities led by Zoo staff; sleep in the climate-controlled upper level of the barn; evening snack and continental breakfast are provided

Space is limited, so please sign up ASAP to be assured a spot. Registration closes October 24th. If this overnight fills up, we will create a waiting list.
