Hello Pack 24 Families. We hope you’ve all enjoyed your summer breaks and are getting ready to go back-to-school in less than a month.
The Pack 24 Leadership has planned some fun activities which are just around the corner. Please note the following on your calendars.
Summer Picnic: Sunday, August 19 from 1pm to 5pm. We have reserved space at the National Grove South #2, the entrance to which is located near of the intersection of Des Plaines and 29th Avenue. The whole family is welcome to attend, and we encourage you to invite any prospective new scouts as well. Some of the highlights will include:
- A bounce house
- Water rockets (build your own before coming over to the picnic)
- An epic water balloon fight
- Games of all varieties
- Summer BBQ delights such as hot dogs, burgers, and many other treats.
Warren Dunes Camping: We will be returning to this State Park near Sawyer, Michigan on September 7, 8 and 9. The entire family is welcome to attend this two night camping trip, although you are welcome to attend for just a portion if your schedule is tight. More details will be forthcoming soon.
