Are you planning on participating in the Des Plaines Valley Council World Record Attempt? On Saturday June 12, 2010, starting at 1:00PM, the Des Plaines Valley Council will attempt to tie the most square knots in a limited time (I can’t recall what the time limit was.)

This is a world record attempt for the Guinness Book of World Records!

The event is being held Saturday June 12, 2010 at Lyons Township H.S. South Campus. Enter the parking lot off Willow Springs Road (Gilbert Avenue).

12:45 PM Registration / Check-in
1PM – 2PM Round Robin Games
2PM – 3PM World Record Knot Attempt
3PM – 4PM Refreshments & Awards
  • Cost: FREE
  • Wear your uniform
  • Bring a water bottle
  • Event goes on in rain or shine
  • Open to all Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Leaders
  • Practice your square knot before you arrive!
