Greetings Akelas! Our Pack has a long tradition of hosting a successful cabin camping trip in early spring. (Watch for an announcement about Camp Tecumseh 2026 soon!) However, our late spring tent camping trips have typically had very low attendance.
We have leaders proposing a tent camping trip at Chain O’ Lakes State Park in Lake County, IL on June 5-7, 2026. Programming would include fishing, games, campfires, and a possible day trip to Volo Bog. The committee wants to ensure that there is interest among Pack families before making any reservations.
