Scouting for Food Drive!
Get ready to be “helpful”, “friendly”, “courteous”, and “kind”, as Pack 24 assists in the Pathway to Adventure Council’s annual Scouting for Food Drive to combat hunger.
On Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM sharp, please come out to the entrance of the Riverside Presbyterian Church (RPC) to collect the informational door hangers that are to be distributed throughout our area. Based upon the number of Scouts that attend, we will assign each Scout a designated area to canvass and distribute informational door hangers that instruct residents to leave donations on their doorsteps on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
On Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM, please meet at the entrance of RPC to pick up any donations from the areas where doortags were previously distributed. We are asking parents to deliver the donations to our selected food pantry (Share Food Share Love Food Pantry in Brookfield, IL) for distribution to those in need.
We look forward to seeing our energetic Scouts in their Class A uniforms outside of the Riverside Presbyterian Church on Saturdays, April 6 & 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM for this rewarding community service project!
