Join us for an overnight camping trip to Camp Shabbona Woods! We will be hiking, doing a campfire, learning all about Illinois’ natural habitats, doing a service project at the park, and having a special nighttime frog spotting adventure. You can choose to stay overnight or just attend for the day on Saturday.

What are we going to do:
Saturday:
- Arrive/set up tents
- Pre-lunch hike with nature bingo
- Lunch: Walking tacos
- Camp service project
- Bike ride or games
- Dinner: Cook out with burgers/dogs
- Campfire and dutch oven cobbler
- Nighttime frog spotting hike in the Shabbona wetlands (bring your flashlight!)
Sunday morning: French toast breakfast, optional interfaith service, camp breakdown/cleanup
What are we eating: walking tacos for lunch on Saturday, hotdogs / burgers for dinner on Saturday, French Toast and Sausage on Sunday morning. Plenty of nutritious fruits and veggies will be served with each meal. Note: Food is included, but if you have dietary restrictions, you’re welcome to bring any food you like.
Costs:
Overnight: $25 per scout/sibling; $40 per parent
Saturday only: 15$ per scout/sibling; $30 per parent
