Pack 24 will be marching towards the beginning of the parade; second in line after the fire trucks. So far we have 16 scouts signed up to march, and each one will receive a commemorative patch. If you haven’t signed up yet, please click here to do so.
If you have signed up, here’s what you need to know:
- Pack 24 will form up near the corner of Delaplane & Longcommon, just north of the big ball park.
- Please bring your scout up to the staging point no later than 8:30am so we can get everyone set up before the parade begins. Note that parking is going to be restricted in this area of town, so leave plenty of time to get to the starting point.
- We will have small American flags on hand for each scout to wave as we march. However, if you also want your scout to throw candy to the specators, please send a bag or two of candy along with him.
Remember that after the parade ends, all scouts are invited to help with our lemonade stand in Guthrie Park. Thanks to everyone that has signed up to help with the lemonade stand preparations, especially Mike Ryan for coordinating.
