Are you planning on camping this summer? There are no pack camp outs scheduled, but there are several camping opportunities from the Des Plaines Valley Council.
Weekend in Illinois
This is Saturday and Sunday in Rochelle Illinois (about 70 miles from Riverside.)

* The sessions on these weekends include activities especially for Webelos.
July 10-11 is the weekend that Pack 24 is encouraging everyone to attend. All the dates are available and you’re welcome to pick whatever weekend works best for you, but if you would like the best chance of camping with others from Pack 24, plan on July 10-11.

Shin Go Beek
This is 4 days/3 nights near Oshkosh Wisconsin (about 230 miles from Riverside.)

In order to have as many campers as possible from Pack 24 at one camp out, we’re trying to get everyone to go on June 27-30. However, feel free to pick whichever dates work best for your schedule.

Voyageur Trace Day Camp
This is a two-day, day camp, from 9:00 – 3:00 on Thursday August 5 and Friday August 6, 2010. The day camp will be held at the Bedford Park Park District. You can get more information on the registration form here.
