Submarine Overnight Signup is Open!

This could be one of our Pack’s coolest overnights ever – sleeping on a REAL submarine! Space is limited and registration closes end-of-day this Thursday, Sept. 28th. You will NOT want to miss this!

Join the Pack on Saturday, November 4th at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s USS Cobia Overnight Program. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Scouts and families will be offered special supervised access to some non-public areas of the submarine.  Activities may include learning how to fire a torpedo and dive the submarine, Morse code, identifying WWII planes and ships, and much more. It’s a real-life, hands-on history lesson!

This event is $40 per person and is open to Scouts, parents and siblings over six years old. This includes admission to the overnight, dinner at a local restaurant and snacks on Saturday, as well as museum admission for Sunday. Bring your own breakfast for Sunday morning.

Dinner will be at approximately 5pm on Saturday (details to follow for participants). Arrival at the submarine will be at 7:30. The museum is located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, just under three hours from Riverside.

Bring your own sleeping bag and pillow for your submarine bunk. The sub is heated/air conditioned, but temps will vary, depending on the outside weather. Be prepared, Scouts, and pack layers and a flashlight!

Check out all the details on the museum’s parent page and sign up below. Waivers will be sent to participants after signup.

We’ve reached capacity. Registration is closed. Thanks to everyone who signed up!
