Geocaching Adventure Pop-up Hike on May 10

Grab your Scout Six Essentials and join us at 1 p.m. this Saturday, May 10th, at Phillips Park in Aurora for a Geocaching Pop-up Hike adventure. We’ll hunt for five geocaches along the 1.75-mile Mastodon Trail circling Mastodon Lake and end on Mastodon Island, where we’ll share some light snacks.

Would you have ever guessed that Masondon fossils were found at this site in 1934?

After the hike, families may want to visit the free Phillips Park Zoo to enjoy the animals and even continue the geocaching fun.

While there is plenty of parking, here is a link to the most convenient parking lot for our meet-up.

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor adventure that is happening all the time, all around the world. Learn more about Geocaching and create a free account to track your finds at geocaching.com.
