We hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacations.
A total of 15 scouts (plus 30 of their family members) are registered for the bike hike on the I&M trail this Sunday.
Please remember to bring your payment to the event. Adults and siblings more than 12 years old are $5 each (scouts and younger siblings are free). No payment = no patch for your scout.
How to get there you ask? Click here to download the trail map & directions directly from the Forest Preserve website. However, the directions are fairly straightforward:
- Take your favorite westbound road to Willow Springs road (I prefer Joliet for this trip)
- Turn left on Willow Springs to head southbound
- Cross over both I-55 and I-294, the entrance to the trail is less than 1 mile away on the right side of the road (just past a Gas City / Subway)
- If you cross over the Des Plaines River, I&M Canal, you’ve gone too far.
