Sign up now for Blue & Gold Banquet

2016 B&G PatchAt our Blue & Gold banquet on Sunday, February 28 our special guest will be science entertainer Steve Belliveau.  He has put on shows at some of the D96 schools and his website provides the following description of his act:

  • At last, a science school assembly and science show that everyone can not only see, but understand and enjoy. The aim of Steve’s show is to inspire students to get involved in science themselves. Using dramatic demonstration, easy to see equipment, humor, music and audience participation, he brings down to earth basic ideas about air/water pressure, magnetism & electricity, friction, chemistry, simple machines, conservation of energy, sound and color.

However, the Blue & Gold also features much more than just this awesome show.  The Webelos II scouts will receive their arrow of light awards, and then cross-over to the ranks of Troop 24 boy scouts.  The there will be a top-notch dinner and a fantastic slide show as well.  All scouts that come to the Blue & Gold will get a super fun patch to commemorate the occasion.

The whole family is welcome to attend, so please sign up here today to register.  The deadline of February 22 is rapidly approaching.
