Pinewood Derby is about two weeks away. Get those cars ready for a great day of racing on Saturday, January 30. If you need a little bit of help getting your scout’s masterpiece created, here is info on a CUB SCOUT PINEWOOD DERBY CAR CUTOUT EVENT:
- Boy Scout Troop 101 of Darien is hosting a Cub Scout Pinewood Derby car cutout event Sunday, January 24th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at St. John Church located at 7214 Cass Ave in Darien.
- We will have adult leaders and Scouts on hand along with bench top power tools for car cut out and scales to assist with construction of cars.
- If interested, contact Mark Greg, Assistant Scoutmaster of troop 101 at mark.greg@comcast.net and provide an estimate of how many Cub Scouts would be attending.

We invite all pack parents to attend our planning session next week, on Thursday, January 21 at 7pm. We will be making plans for our events for the next year and want your input to make sure these are fun for the scouts. Note the venue is Irish Times in Brookfield, so with adult beverages available – parents only, please! Our leaders will be on hand, with ideas and to have fun.
