Tuesday, October 13 at 7pm is our next Pack Meeting. The location is the RPC social hall, as usual. Some of the highlights will include:
- Turn-in popcorn orders and collections. New scouts that turn in a popcorn order will receive a our custom Pack 24 “Class B” T-Shirt to wear to informal events.
- The Bears are putting on a show! They are working up a bunch of activities to entertain the rest of the pack.
- Snoozeum overnight waivers and any final payment are also due.
- A preview of our plans for the Scout Cabin camp out on October 17.
Did you say Scout Cabin camp out on October 17?
- Yes! Sign up will begin soon once we work out the final details. Set up will begin in the early afternoon. This is a great opportunity for new scouts to get their first camping experience in a setting that is close to home if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
- We will serve dinner and breakfast to our hungry campers.
- We are planning a lot of great outdoor activities including a camp fire with skits and songs with some of the boy scouts from Troop 24.
- We all sleep in tents outside of the cabin, since it is too small for our group size. The cabin will be open all night for use of the restroom facilities. You’ll need to bring your own tent.
- This event is open the whole family.
