- We have popcorn site sales this weekend at the Lyon’s Walgreen’s. We need a few more scouts to fill out the Saturday shifts that begin at noon and 1pm, please click here to sign up if your scout is available. We may have to cancel our Sunday (September 22) site sale since there isn’t anyone registered for this one.
Speaking of popcorn, any scout that sells at least one item will get a new Class B T-shirt at our October 8 Pack Meeting. The new design is super cool – check it out. So visit your neighbors and call your aunts, uncles and grandparents to ask them to support the cub scouts. Then bring your take order sheet to our meeting.- The registration for the Sleepover Safari outing to Brookfield Zoo ends on Monday, September 23, and payment is due then as well. We are over 55% full, so don’t wait until the last minute – so there may not be any spots left after this weekend. There is always a last-minute surge in registrations as undecided folks decide to attend. Click here for details on the program and click here to register.
- Remember that the Des Plaines Valley Council is looking for designs for their January 2014 Polar Prowl. Not only will scouts that design the patch receive recognition, but the council has decided to give the winner a $50 gift certificate to the scout shop!
