Join your fellow Pack 24 scouts for a cheap and easy camp out, close to home, at Cantigny in Wheaton. One of the few field trips I remember from when I was a kid, this is the place with all the tanks!

It’s just over 30 minutes away and only $10 per person.

You can set up your tent beginning at noon on Saturday April 17. At 2:00PM we’ll have a tour of the First Division Museum with David Hilpp. After the museum tour, we’ll have some free time to explore the grounds with your den and at around 5:00 we’ll get together for dinner.

After dinner, we’ve got a full night of entertainment planned for around the campfire. Once the fire dies down, it’s lights out, and in the morning, for you early risers, Cantigny will provide a guide to take you fishing, from dawn until 9:00 AM. After that, we’ll have a light breakfast, clean up and break camp.

Camping is just $10 per Scout or Akela and includes camping, afternoon snack and dinner on Saturday, and light breakfast on Sunday. Payment is due to your den leader with this form by March 30.

p.s. We’re trying to get MREs for everyone for dinner. If that falls through, we’ll just get pizza 🙂
